Raportowanie społeczne w sektorze ochrony zdrowia jest rzadkością, choć koncepcja społecznej odpowiedzialności jest zgodna z celami sektora ochrony zdrowia. W artykule podkreślono znaczenie wdrożenia idei zrównoważonego rozwoju w podmiotach leczniczych oraz scharakteryzowano cel raportowania społecznego. Przeprowadzona analiza obecnej sprawozdawczości podmiotów leczniczych w Polsce wskazała na niewielką możliwość ich wykorzystania na potrzeby raportowania społecznego. W oparciu o wyniki analizy wskazano na wyzwania stojące przed służbami rachunkowości w zakresie przygotowania do raportowania społecznego.

Sustainability reporting among health sector entities is very rare, although the concept of social responsibility is in accordance with the mission of the health sector. The article highlights the importance of sustainable idea incorporation into the strategy of health sector entities and presents the aim of sustainable reporting. The analysis of present obligatory reporting of Polish hospitals presents the limited possibility to use the data for sustainability reporting. Based on the analysis, authors described the challenges that hospitals’ accountants face in order to prepare for sustainability reporting.
