The article tackles the problem of Holocaust economics. The Treblinka II death camp served to murder the victims, but also produced material benefits to the SS officers and guards working there, the inhabitants of the area and immigrant population as well as the Treasury of the Third Reich. The problem connected with the tangible benefits derived from the camp did not disappear once the camp was destroyed. In fact, it continued for many years after the war.
