Innovation and competitiveness of the polish economy is mostly determined by the enterprises activity. The investment strategy and innovation level of the business entities are the key factors of the GPD level and the economy ability to create new working places. The aim of this article is to notify the role and the meaning of the technological innovation In preparation and implementation the enterprises development strategy, and also the need to create the "knowledge based economy".(original abstract)
