The article examines the stereotyped image of Ukrainians and Russians revealed in The Last Moskal TV series (2015). The Ukrainian production contains a wide variety of stereotypes and cultural scripts and thus presents a potent opportunity to analyse contemporary popular symbols and plots of the Russian-Ukrainian cultural discourse.

W artykule przedstawione zostały obrazy Ukraińca i Rosjanina na podstawie współczesnego serialu ukraińskiego Ostatni Moskal. W obrazach tych zawarta jest duża liczba  stereotypów i skryptów kulturowych. Autor artykułu stwierdza, iż współcześni ludzie odeszli od słowa pisanego  i zwrócili się ku kinematografii, co przyczyniło się do tego, że jest ona istotnym kluczem do analizy kultury współczesnego społeczeństwa.
