Artykuł przedstawia wstępne wyniki badania ankietowego przeprowadzonego na obszarach wiejskich gminy Ozimek od września do grudnia 2014 r. Celem badania było zidentyfikowanie czynników mających wpływ na decyzję o budowie lub przebudowie domu w 12 miejscowościach wchodzących w skład gminy miejsko-wiejskiej Ozimek. Uzyskane wyniki pozwoliły na poznanie m.in. preferencji wyboru miejscowości, w której wybudowano lub przebudowano domy w latach 1998-2014, udziału w migracjach oraz oceny zadowolenia wynikającej z faktu osiedlenia się na wsi. Omówienie wyników badań ankietowych zostało uzupełnione o dane w zakresie budownictwa indywidualnego publikowane przez GUS.

The paper deals with prefatory research results of survey conducted among inhabitants of the Ozimek district’s rural areas between September and December 2014. The purpose was to identify the factors that determine decisions about building or reconstructing houses in the 12 towns that belong to the Ozimek district. The results enabled to recognize such issues as, town choice preferences concerning building and reconstructing houses between 1998 and 2014, migration participation, and evaluation of satisfaction with the rural area settlement. The research results of survey were supplied with some data concerning individual architecture published by Central Statistical Office.
