Analizując liczbę współczesnych, technicznych nowinek, aplikacji oraz dostępnych systemów służących zarządzaniu czasem, można stwierdzić, że spóźnienie lub brak czasu nie dotyczy już obecnych pokoleń. Jednak nadal, mimo tak ogromnego wsparcia ze strony najnowszej technologii, nie brak osób, które nie potrafią zarządzać czasem swoim i swoich pracowników. Wiele projektów kończy się fiaskiem, zwłaszcza ze względu na źle zaplanowane zadania lub zasoby projektowe. Celem pracy jest znalezienie odpowiedzi na pytanie, czy obecnie istnieje na rynku system, który pozwoli zarządzać czasem swoim lub innych oraz jednocześnie zaspokoi indywidualne przyzwyczajenia i predyspozycje, dzięki którym system będzie miał realne zastosowanie. W poniższym opracowaniu zostały przedstawione i porównane najbardziej popularne systemy informatyczne, wspomagające organizację czasu własnego, jak i czasu pracy. Zaprezentowano funkcjonalności narzędzi oraz przedstawiono wymagania, które powinien spełniać system odpowiedzialny za zarządzanie czasem.

Analyzing the number of modern, technical innovations, applications and systems available for the time management can be concluded that the delay or lack of time no longer concerns the current generation. But still, despite of such a huge support from the latest technology, there is no lack of people who cannot manage their time and their employees. Many projects end in failure – especially because of the badly planned project tasks or resources. The aim of the study is to answer the question whether there is now available system that will manage own time or the others, and at the same time satisfy individual habits and predispositions, so that the system will have real application and contribute to personal fulfillment. In this study, they were presented and compared the most popular IT systems, supporting the organization’s own time and working time. Authors presented different functionality of the tools and the most important requirements that should be met by the system responsible for the time management.

W potężnej kompresji czasu, charakteryzującej życie społeczeństw rozwiniętych, umiejętność zarządzania czasem nabrała szczególnego znaczenia. Coraz częściej jest ona bowiem warunkiem realizacji celów zawodowych i prywatnych, a tym samym zaspokojenia potrzeb i zrównoważonego rozwoju człowieka. W artykule na podstawie badań wtórnych oraz pierwotnych scharakteryzowano wybrane problemy współczesnego konsumenta – mieszkańca dużego miasta z zarządzaniem budżetem czasu. Życie pod presją czasu, związany z tym stres i poczucie niedoboru czasu na realizację wszystkich stojących przed jednostką wyzwań i zadań, a także brak równowagi czasowej pomiędzy poszczególnymi obszarami życia dotykają w różnym zakresie coraz większą grupę konsumentów, zwłaszcza tych wykształconych i osiągających wysokie dochody.

In the life of developed societies characterized by a strong time compression, the time management skill became highly important. More and more often it is a precondition for achieving the professional and private goals, there by satisfying human needs and allowing for sustainable development. The article, based on the secondary and primary research, characterizes problems of the contemporary consumer (inhabitant of a big city) with time management. Life under time pressure, associated with its stress and sense of time shortage to accomplish all the challenges and tasks faced by an entity as well as the lack of time balance between the various areas of life are affecting a growing group of consumers, especially those who are educated and who receive high incomes.

Niniejsze opracowanie przybliża zagadnienia związane z funkcjonowaniem nowoczesnych przedsiębiorstw w kontekście gospodarowania czasem. Stwierdzono, że szczegółowe formułowanie celów, identyfikowanie oraz eliminowanie strat czasowych i prokrastynacji, stosowanie metod zarządzania czasem oraz stała kontrola umożliwiają efektywne gospodarowanie czasem. Dopełnienie opracowania stanowi nawiązanie do organizacji wysokich technologii, w których gospodarowanie czasem jest niezwykle ważnym i widocznym procesem.

This study introduces issues related to the functioning of modern enterprises in the context of time management. In this article, basic problems related to time management have been raised. Specific goal setting, identification and elimination of time wastes, moreover procrastination, using methods related to time management and permanent control facilitate the effective use of time. A complement of the compilation constitutes reference to high-tech organizations, in which time management is remarkably crucial and apparent process.

Celem artykułu są rozważania na temat czasu w konsumpcji. Służą one przedstawieniu wybranych zagadnień z zakresu interpretacji czasu – ich miejsca i znaczenia w analizie konsumpcji oraz istoty gospodarowania czasem jako niefinansowym środkiem konsumpcji będącym w dyspozycji jednostki. Prowadzą do stwierdzenia, że czas w konsumpcji jest tą kategorią, która z jednej strony ma charakter instytucji społecznej, regulatora zdarzeń społecznych, właściwości ludzkiego działania – jest integralną częścią porządku społecznego; z drugiej – jest cennym dobrem, ograniczonym zasobem jakim gospodarują jednostki w celu zaspokojenia potrzeb egzystencji (podstawowych), potrzeb samorozwoju i społecznych (wyższego rzędu).

The aim of this article is a reflection on the time in consumption. They serve as a presentation: selected issues in the field of interpretation of time – their place and significance in the analysis of consumption; the economy sometimes acts as a nonfinancial means of consumption at the disposal of the individual. They lead to the conclusion that time in consumption is the category which, on the one hand, is the social institution, the regulator of social events, the characteristic of human activity – is an integral part of the social order; on the other hand, it is a valuable asset, limited by the resources that the individual manages to meet the needs of existence (basic), needs of selfdevelopment and social (higher order).
