The article is devoted to the early days of Zygmunt Lubicz-Zaleski (1882–1967). Z. Lubicz-Zaleski, intellectual and humanist, started his education at the Warsaw University of Technology and then at the School of Fine Arts. During the studies, he joined the conspiratorial Association of the Polish Youth “Zet”. In 1904 he was arrested and imprisoned in the Warsaw Citadel. After his release, he left the country and stayed in Paris. Among the people who had a serious impact on the views and life choices of young Zaleski, we can specify: Zenon Przesmycki, Stanisław Posner and Tadeusz Makowski.

Tekst poświęcony jest młodzieńczym latom Zygmunta Lubicza-Zaleskiego (1882–1967). Z. Lubicz-Zaleski, intelektualista i humanista, rozpoczął edukację na Politechnice Warszawskiej, a następnie kontynuował ją w Szkole Sztuk Pięknych. Podczas studiów związał się z konspiracyjnym Związkiem Młodzieży Polskiej „Zet”. W 1904 r. aresztowany i osadzony w Cytadeli, po uwolnieniu znalazł się na emigracji w Paryżu. Na młodzieńcze poglądy i wybory życiowe Zaleskiego duży wpływ wywarli:  Zenon Przesmycki, Stanisław Posner, Tadeusz Makowski.
