Postrzegane przez młodych polskich konsumentów bariery w transgranicznych zakupach internetowych

Artykuł przedstawia wyniki badań własnych nt. postrzegania przez młodych polskich konsumentów transgranicznych zakupów internetowych na tle danych statystycznych dla krajów Unii Europejskiej. Zakupy takie, w obrębie UE, w Chinach czy USA, są dokonywane przez rosnący odsetek młodych nabywców, chociaż większość badanych posiada negatywne opinie i przekonania na ich temat, często wynikające ze stereotypów, a nie własnych doświadczeń. Dostrzegane bariery popytowe (wysoki poziom cen i opłat za obsługę płatności i dostawę, długi czas dostawy oraz bariery językowe, a także przyzwyczajenie do typowych dla rynku polskiego sposobów płatności i dostawy) oddziałują silniej na badanych niż czynniki podażowe (np. geodyskryminacja ze strony sprzedawców).

Paper deals on perceived barriers in cross-border online shopping by young Polish consumers based on own research on the background of relevant comparative statistics for EU countries. Such purchases, within the EU, but also from China or the US, are made by the growing percentage of young buyers, although the majority of respondents have negative opinions and beliefs about them, often emerging from stereotypes rather than their experience. The perceived barriers from demand side have a stronger impact on respondents than supply side factors. Identified demand side barriers are high prices and other fees, including payment and delivery handling, long waiting times for delivery and language barriers, as well as habits from internal market regarding the choice of payment and delivery ways). For supply-side geodiscrimination practices by sellers on delivery and payments is important perceived obstacle.
