Celem artykułu jest opisanie nowoczesnych metod i technik udostępniania zbiorów oraz ich metadanych na przykładzie prowadzonego przez Bibliotekę Narodową Australii serwisu Trove (http://trove.nla.gov.au). Serwis scala i prezentuje informacje o różnego typu zbiorach bibliotecznych, archiwalnych, muzealnych, pochodzących z wielu źródeł instytucjonalnych. Wyróżniają go fasetowe możliwości ograniczania wyników wyszukiwania, zastosowanie eferberyzacji, wskazywanie rankingu trafności danego obiektu w stosunku do zapytania, wyposażenie w narzędzia pracy społecznościowej. Trove łączy bogatą ofertę informacji o zasobach z wysoce efektywnymi narzędziami wyszukiwawczymi oraz możliwością zarządzania danymi.

The aim of this article is to describe modern methods and techniques for making collections and their metadata available based on the example of Trove service (http://trove.nla.gov.au) run by the National Library of Australia. The website integrates and presents information about different types of library collections, archives, museums, originated from many institutional sources. Trove features facets for limiting search results, FRBR, relevancy ranking of the site in relation to the query, social networking tools. Trove combines a wide range of information resources with highly effective search tools and data management.
