Celem niniejszego artykułu jest przedstawienie i wytłumaczenie podstawowych pojęć składających się na teorię sensu życia Viktora Emila Frankla (tzw. logoteorię). Ze względu na pedagogiczny kontekst rozważań wykazano, iż elementy logoteorii mogą być wykorzystane w pedagogice, a przede wszystkim w wychowaniu człowieka, którego nadrzędnym celem jest samowychowanie wychowanka prowadzącego życie pełne sensu.

The aim of the papers is to present and explain the basic concepts of the meaning of life theory made by Victor Emil Frankl (so-called logotheory or logotherapy). The article takes into account the pedagogical background of consideration. The author shows that the elements of logotheory can be used in pedagogy, and above all, in the upbringing process of a human being whose primary goal is to self-educate and lead a full-of-meaning life.
