Voivod Stefan Kirtiklis was established for the position of Governor of Pomerania on 21 of November 1931. The time in which he had to perform such a role in Pomerania, was extremely difficult (economic crisis and the lack of support for the government camp). Kirtiklis gained experience during military service and working in the state administration, which allowed treat him as a person competent in matters related to internal security. The main task Kirtiklis in Pomerania was supposed to be fighting with the opposition and ensure the government camp advantage. Expression tightening remedial course the authorities, in relation to the national opposition was repression that fell on the Great Polish Camp. This organization has gained more and more influence in Pomeranian society, and its activity was the subject of in-depth observations from the UWP officials and the governor. Supporters Camp often used illegal methods and forms of work, in order to attracted more members for their organization. Stefan Kirtiklis, as a governor, was responsible for respecting the law in the province. Therefore he could not tolerate illegal activities of the OWP. November 26, 1932, the Governor of Pomerania issued a decree to dissolve the Camp of Great Polish. Organization of Young Nationalists was solved with ease in Pomerania region. This action contributed to it’s solution across the whole country, which took place in March 1933.
