One of the priorities in modern concept of urban management is municipal waste management as a part of disposal or reverse logistics. Solving waste management problems as transport problems should embrace conditions of sustainable development. The paper presents aspects of organization of reverse logistics in Warsaw agglomeration including current situation and scale of the task. The selected aspects of multicriteria decision support are described and important elements of defining criteria preferences are pointed. The basis of MAJA method and rank method applied in SuperChoose software are presented. Application is a computer tool supporting decision making within selecting alternative ways of organization waste collection in urban area. Paper includes calculation example for real data from Warsaw agglomeration.

Tematem artykułu jest rozważenie uwarunkowań rozwoju jeździectwa w aglomeracji warszawskiej. Omówiono w nim uwarunkowania rozwoju, potencjały i najistotniejsze bariery, a także możliwości znoszenia ograniczeń oraz działania na rzecz upowszechnienia sportu i rekreacji jeździeckiej. Jest to jeden z wątków tematycznych badań przeprowadzonych w wybranych ośrodkach jeździeckich w aglomeracji warszawskiej, w ramach dwóch kolejnych statutowych projektów badawczych, finansowanych grantem Ministerstwa Nauki i Szkolnictwa Wyższego ds-114 oraz ds-144. Na podstawie zgromadzonego materiału została przygotowana i obroniona na Akademii Wychowania Fizycznego Józefa Piłsudskiego w Warszawie rozprawa doktorska dr Natalii Łukasik Społeczne i kulturowe uwarunkowania rozwoju jeździectwa w Warszawie i gminach sąsiednich (promotor: prof. dr hab. inż. arch. Anna Pawlikowska-Piechotka). Niniejszy artykuł prezentuje zarys założeń badań, uzyskane rezultaty na podstawie analizy uporządkowanego materiału badań oraz wysunięte syntetyczne wnioski końcowe.

The subject of the article is to consider the determinants of the development of horse riding in the Warsaw agglomeration. It discusses the determinants of development, potentials and key obstacles, as well as the possibilities of lifting constraints and activities for the promotion of equestrian sport and recreation. This is one of the thematic threads of research carried out in selected equestrian centres in the Warsaw agglomeration as part of two following statutory research projects, supported by a statutory grant from the Ministry of Science and Higher Education ds-114 and ds-144. On the basis of the collected material, PhD Natalia Łukasik prepared and defended her doctoral dissertation at the Józef Piłsudski University of Physical Education in Warsaw, entitled Social and cultural conditions for the development of horse riding in Warsaw and neighbouring communes (supervisor: Prof, DSc, PhD, Eng Arch. Anna Pawlikowska-Piechotka). The article presents an outline of the research assumptions, the results obtained on the basis of the analysis of the research material and advanced synthetic final conclusions.

Celem pracy jest przedstawienie wpływu zmian urbanizacyjnych poprzez pokazanie zróżnicowania wielolet - nich zmian temperatury powietrza na trzech stacjach meteorologicznych położonych na terenie Warszawy: Ursynów, Okęcie oraz Bielany. W odróżnieniu od stacji Ursynów, której otoczenie zmieniało się w ostatnich 50 latach w sposób istotny, wokół stacji na Okęciu i na Bielanach tak znaczących zmian nie odnotowano. Dane źródłowe wykorzystane w pracy obejmują średnie dobowe wartości temperatury powietrza, wartości temperatury minimalnej i maksymalnej. Analizowano trendy temperatury średniej rocznej, średniej miesięcznej oraz temperatury średniej maksymalnej i minimalnej rocznej i miesięcznej w całym wieloleciu 1961–2010. Stwierdzono istotny trend warunków termicznych na stacji Ursynów w przypadku temperatury średniej i minimalnej miesięcznej.

The aim of this work is to present the influence of changes in urbanization by showing the variability of changes in long-term air temperature at three meteorological stations located in Warsaw: Ursynów, Okęcie and Bielany. Unlike the station Ursynów, where the surrounding area has changed significantly in the last 50 years, at the vicinity of the stations Okęcie and Bielany did not undergo such extensive transformations. Meteorological data used in the paper includes the values of average daily air temperature as well as the values of the daily maximum and minimum temperature. Trends in the annual average temperature, the average monthly temperature and the average maximum and minimum annual and monthly temperature for the period 1961–2010 were analyzed. A significant trend of thermal conditions at the Ursynów station for the average temperature and for the minimum monthly temperature has been observed.
