The title suggests that this article will continue on the subject addressed 10 years ago. The previous article was On a bishop who is inconvenient to those in power in Argentina—both the State and the Church. Despite the changes that have taken place in both spheres (the collapse of the military dictatorship after the 1983 elections, and changes in the episcopate and the judicial inquiry and elucidation of the circumstances of the murder of Bishop Angelelli), some people are denying Pope Francis’ decision to recognise the martyrdom of the bishop and his collaborators (June 8, 2018). They see this beatification as inconvenient. The author of the presented study challenges these arguments, both from the canon-law perspective and in light of canonization practice. Due to the passage of time (the martyrs died in the Diocese of La Rioja in 1976) and the geographical separation (South America), he first provides their short biographies. Due to numerous untrue data and overinterpretations disseminated by the media as to the course of the beatification processes at the diocesan phase, the also tries to bring order to the basic facts.

Tytuł wskazuje na kontynuację podjętego 10 lat temu zagadnienia. Wówczas artykuł traktował O Biskupie niewygodnym dla rządzących w Argentynie – państwem, jak również Kościołem. Mimo przemian, jakie dokonały się w obydwu społecznościach (upadek dyktatury wojskowej po wyborach z 1983 r.; zmiany w episkopacie i sądowym wyświetleniu okoliczności zabójstwa bpa Angelellego), niektórzy kontestują decyzję papieża Franciszka o uznaniu męczeństwa Biskupa i jego współpracowników (z 8 czerwca 2018 r.). Dla nich teraz beatyfikacja jest niewygodna. Autor polemizuje z podnoszonymi argumentami, z prawnokanonicznego punktu widzenia i praktyki kanonizacyjnej. Mając na uwadze upływ czasu Męczenników z diecezji La Rioja (zginęli w 1976 r.), jak też przestrzeń (kontynent południowoamerykański), podał najpierw ich krótki biografie. W związku z licznymi nieprawdziwymi danymi oraz nadinterpretacjami w środkach przekazu, co do przebiegu procesów beatyfikacyjnych w fazie diecezjalnej, uporządkował również podstawowe dane.

The title indicates the continuation of the issue that was taken 10 years ago. At that time the article concerned About the Bishop uncomfortable for the governing in Argentina – the state as well as the Church. Despite changes in both communities (the decline of the military dictatorship after the 1983 elections, changes in the episcopate and judicial clarification of the circumstances of the murder of Bishop Angelelli), some contest the decision of Pope Francis to recognize the martyrdom of the Bishop and his co-workers (June 8, 2018). For them beatification is now inconvenient. The author polemicizes with the arguments raised, from the legal-canonical point of view and canonization practice. Bearing in mind the passage of the time of the Martyrs from the Diocese of La Rioja (died in 1976), as well as space (the South American continent), the author gave their short biographies first. Due to numerous false data and misinterpretations in the media about the course of beatification processes in the diocesan stage, the author also organized the basic data.
