Wojciech Wiercieński herbu Ślepowron (ok. 1744 – 1829) był wpływowym właścicielem ziemskim na południowo-zachodniej Lubelszczyznie, wywodzącym się z ubogiej szlachty podlaskiej. Karierę prawniczą zrobił w Lublinie, gdzie został obrońcą przy Trybunale Koronnym. Jako doświadczony prawnik piastował niższe urzędy ziemskie. Utrzymywał bliskie kontakty z wpływowymi ludźmi kultury (Kajetan Koźmian) i polityki (Józef Puchała). Wzbogacony dzięki udanym mariażom majątek pozostawił dzieciom z drugiego małżeństwa. Wojciech Wiercieński of Ślepowron coat of arms (ca. 1744 – 1829) was an influential landowner in the south-west Lublin regions, coming from a needy nobility of Podlasie. He made law career in Lublin, where he became a defense attorney in the Crown Tribunal. As an experienced lawyer, he held lower office. He stayed in a close contact with influential people of culture (Kajetan Koźmian) and politics (Józef Puchała).
