The article aims to present the benefits and costs for the SADC member countries of the conclusion of EPA and of the implementation of trade liberalisation thereunder, in the light of their trade relations with the European Union. The hypothesis adopted is that for the majority of the SADC countries entering into the agreement will involve improved access for their products to the EU market. The assessment of the advantages and disadvantages of the conclusion of an EPA will take account of a situation in which the countries of the region would not sign an EPA: how their customs status would change and whether it would affect the conditions of trade with the European Union.(original abstract)
Wielka Brytania to jeden z najważniejszych parterów gospodarczych Polski.

Great Britain is one of Poland’s most important economic partners. Poland’s accession to the European Union created favourable conditions for Polish-British trade. It resulted in intensification of both trade in goods and services between Poland and Great Britain. In addition to that increased capital flow in the form of FDI from Great Britain to Poland was observed. Migration of Polish citizens to Great Britain constituted another important effect of Poland’s integration with the EU. The decision of British society to leave the EU taken in referendum in June 2016 necessitates research regarding economic relations between and Poland – current state of affairs and threats for future development in the context of Brexit. Possible scenarios for Great Britain’s exit from the EU have been described together with their implications for Poland.

Investment processes realized by energy companies are usually very complex and require the involvement of various partners and organizations. Within this particular context, the relations between these partners seem to be worth analyzing focusing on simultaneous cooperation and competition which is called coopetition. The authors identify and analyze coopetitive relations from the viewpoint of the first polish nuclear power plant project.
