Alevis (earlier Kizilbas) are religious group in Turkey, came to existence in 15/16 century from among mainly Turkmen nomad tribes and followers of Ismail ruler of Safavid Persia, closely related with Bektashis. In their believes and ceremonies many shamanism, Muslim Shia and Sunni, Christian influences may be found. The research was carried out in Turkey in 2005 among the Turkish Alevi and Sunni groups according the the authoress project. Keizo Obuchi programme is the basis for article's text and all information it contains.
