The aim of the study was to compare the yield of basic cereal species in field experiments and production conditions over 50 years. The paper presents the results of strict cultivar experiments conducted in field experiments in the years of 1960 2009 in farms of individual farmers, in the area of the Podlaskie voivodship, Poland. The research was conducted by Podlaskie Agricultural Advisory Center in Szepietowo under the substantive supervision of IUNG-PIB in Pulawy, and since 2000 udner the post-registration experiment by Research Centre for Cultivar Testing (COBORU). Measured yields of basic cereal species: winter rye, winter wheat, spring barley and oats, and since 1990 also winter triticale. The results of the experiments were compared against the yields of cereals obtained in the production, based on the data of the Statistical Office in Bialystok. During 50 years, 503 strict fields experiments were conducted in total. The yields of cereals harvested form the experiments were on average 60-145% higher than those obtained from the production fields. Over the years, this diversity increased in all species. The biggest differences in yields between the experiments and production occurred in the latter 10 years.

The aim of the studies was to determine the influence of mixture Tytanit biostimulant and herbicides (Chwastox Turbo 340 SL, Lintur 70 WG, Mustang 306 SE) on the effectiveness of weed control, yield and quality of spring wheat grain. The tested mixtures had no influence on weed control Chenopodium album, Galium aparine, Veronica arestis and Matricaria indora. However, the addition of biostimulant to a spray liquid containing Mustang 306 SE decreased effectivness in case Viola arvensis. The application of biostimulant with the herbicides Lintur 70 WG and Mustang 306 did not have a significant influence on yield of spring wheat. In 2014 after application mixture of Chwastox Turbo 340 SL and biostimulant significant increase the weight of grain was noted. In these studies, tendency to reduce the quality of the grain (mixture biostimulant with Lintur 70 WG or Mustang 306 SE) and varied impact in both years of investigation (Chwastox Turbo 340 SL) were observed.
