The article is a presentation of the authoress’ concept of dreams in the sense of telling stories about yourself, or the so-called self-telling. It means that a meaningful part here is played by a firstperson narration of a dreamer, the sensitivity of which is determined by caring for oneself, but also for others. People are actors accompanied by the creation of themselves. They create themselves as works of art are created. However, they do not exist for themselves, on the contrary they exist thanks to other people and for other people. The phenomenon of dreams is a universal experience, because it affects all people creating their aesthetically and ethically subtle world(s) as a common good. The self-ritual in the form of self-telling is a borderline experience permeated by the element of the sacred. Therefore, it is also a magical experience, the sensitive narrative of the dreamer as if it creates the world. Universal nature of dreaming requires the search for a magical space not only for first-person (small) narratives, but also for new, more extensive and large narratives that may help improve interpersonal relationships, raise morale, strengthen communities.

Artykuł jest prezentacją autorskiego konceptu dotyczącego marzeń w rozumieniu opowiadania siebie, czy też tzw. sobąopowiadania. To znaczy, że znaczącą rolę gra tu pierwszoosobowa narracja marzyciela, której czułość określa troska o siebie, ale też o innych. Człowiek jest aktorem, któremu towarzyszy kreacja siebie. Tworzy siebie, tak jak tworzy się dzieło sztuki. Nie istnieje jednak sam dla siebie, przeciwnie, istnieje dzięki innym i dla innych. Fenomen marzeń jest doświadczeniem uniwersalnym, gdyż dotyka wszystkich ludzi, kreując ich subtelny estetycznie i etycznie świat(y) jako wspólne dobro. Rytuał siebie w postaci Sobąopowiadania jest doświadczeniem granicznym przenikniętym pierwiastkiem sacrum. Jest więc też doświadczeniem magicznym, czuła narracja marzyciela jakby stwarza świat. Uniwersalizm marzeń wymaga poszukiwań magicznej przestrzeni nie tylko dla pierwszoosobowych (małych) narracji, ale także dla nowych większych i wielkich narracji, które pomogą ulepszyć więzi międzyludzkie, podnieść morale, umocnić wspólnoty.
