W artykule poruszono problem ochrony terenów mieszkaniowych przed nadmiernym hałasem za pomocą ekranów akustycznych. Odniesiono się przede wszystkim do aspektów krajobrazowych ich konstrukcji i usytuowania w stosunku do zabudowy mieszkaniowej wielorodzinnej w kontekście zachowania ładu przestrzennego. Wykonana analiza opierała się na zweryfikowaniu ośmiu cech architektonicznych, krajobrazowych i technicznych wpływających na odbiór wizualny przestrzeni w otoczeniu ekranów akustycznych. Na dwóch wybranych obszarach oraz sześciu obiektach pokazano pozytywny i negatywny przykład funkcjonowania barier przeciwdźwiękowych w krajobrazie urbanistycznym.

The article addresses the issue of protection of residential areas from an excessive noise by the use of acoustic screens. Reference was made primarily to the aspects of landscape design and positioning in relation to the multi-family housing development in the context of spatial behaviour. The analysis is based on the verification of 8 architectural features, landscape and technical one affecting the reception of visual space surrounded by acoustic screens. On the two selected areas and 6 objects there is shown the positive and negative example of the functioning of sound absorbing barriers in the urban landscape.

W artykule poruszono problem ochrony akustycznej terenów mieszkaniowych w mieście. Powszechnym sposobem jest stosowanie ekranów akustycznych. W wykonanej analizie odniesiono się przede wszystkim do aspektów krajobrazowych ich konstrukcji i usytuowania w stosunku do zabudowy mieszkaniowej wielorodzinnej w kontekście zachowania ładu przestrzennego. Wykonana ocena opierała się na zweryfikowaniu 8 cech architektonicznych, krajobrazowych i technicznych wpływających na odbiór wizualny przestrzeni w otoczeniu barier przeciwdźwiękowych. Na dwóch wybranych obszarach zlokalizowanych w Warszawie oraz 12 obiektach mieszkaniowych pokazano pozytywne i negatywne przykłady zagospodarowania przestrzennego terenów mieszkaniowych w otoczeniu ekranów akustycznych.

n the article the problem of sound insulation of residential areas in the city has been analyzed. A common method is the use of acoustic screens. The rference was made primarily to aspects of landscape design and positioning in a relation to the multi-family housing development in the context of spatial behavior. The analysis is based on the verification of 8 architectural, landscape and technical features affecting the reception of visual space surrounded by acoustic screens. For two selected areas located in Warsaw and 12 residential objects, the positive and negative examples of spatial planning of residential areas in the vicinity of noise barriers have been presented.
