Celem niniejszego artykułu jest wykazanie, w jaki sposób zastosowanie paradygmatu narracyjnego może być wykorzystane w inicjowaniu zmiany, jaka dokonuje się w relacjach między związkami zawodowymi a pracodawcą podczas rozwiązywania sporów zbiorowych z zastosowaniem procedury mediacyjnej. Z tej perspektywy zmiana organizacyjna związana jest z dekonstrukcją funkcjonującej narracji i konstrukcji nowej, lepiej spełniającej funkcje adaptacyjne. Podejście zaprezentowane w niniejszym artykule wywodzi się z procesualnego ujęcia organizacji oraz nurtu konstruktywizmu społecznego.

Resistance to change is a way of coping with the uncertainty that are brought about by change. This article introduces the notion of resistance to change. It focuses on its personal sources using the adaptation–innovation theory as formulated by M. Kirton as well as examinations performed by S. Oreg. It also introduces a typology covering personal attitudes to change. Moreover, it points to organizational conditions that fortify resistance to change.
