Sekurytyzacja – współczesne narzędzie inżynierii finansowej

Publikacja ta poświęcona jest mniej znanemu instrumentowi inżynierii finansowej określanemu pojęciem – sekurytyzacja. Nie ma ono odpowiednika w języku polskim – co oczywiście nie oznacza, że instrument ten nie jest stosowany w Polsce. Instrument ten jednak ma pejoratywne konotacje w dobie kryzysu. Część naukowców i praktyków uważa wręcz, że sekurytyzacja jest współwinowajcą (oczywiście w części) obecnego kryzysu. Choć tak naprawdę głównym winowajcą jest w przypadku tego instrumentu nadmierna chciwość banków. Podejmując próbę przybliżenia czytelnikowi istoty i głównych cech tego interesującego instrumentu finansowego zaprezentuję nie tylko aspekt historyczny powstania i zastosowań sekurytyzacji ale i co chyba bardziej interesujące, główne kierunki pozytywnych zastosowań sekurytyzacji. W tym kontekście zaprezentuję również sprzężenia zwrotne sekurytyzacji i jej zastosowań z obecnym kryzysem.

The publication is devoted to a less known instrument of financial engineering coined as securitisation. This does not have its Polish equivalent what, of course, does not mean that this instrument is not applied in Poland. However, the instrument has pejorative connotations in the era of crisis. Some academics and practitioners even think that securitisation is an accomplice (of course, partly) of the present crisis, though, to be frank, the main culprit is in the case of this instrument excessive greed of banks. Undertaking an attempt to bling closer to the reader the essence and main features of this interesting financial instrument, I shall present not only the historical aspect of emergence and applications of securitisation but also, what is perhaps more interesting, the main directions of positive applications of securitisation. In this context, I shall also present feedbacks of securitisation and its applications with the present crisis.
