Japan, an iconic country for the foreign creators of the innumerable accounts of it, is often described solely from the perspective of its extreme merits or faults. Such descriptions, classified by this author as careless narratives, are popular to the extent that most recipients of pop culture sources may even not pay attention to them. Some of the accounts utilize the careless narratives in a purely parasitic manner, to build the new, imaginary worlds. Kwiaty w pudełku (Flowers in a Box) by Karolina Bednarz is a representative example of such source.

Japonia, kraj ikoniczny dla zagranicznych twórców niezliczonych relacji o niej, często opisywany jest jedynie w perspektywie jej ekstremalnych zalet lub wad. Opisy takie, kwalifikowane przez autora artykułu jako narracje niedbałe, są na tyle rozpowszechnione, że większość odbiorców źródeł popkulturowych zapewne nie zwraca na nie uwagi. Niektóre relacje w czysto pasożytniczy sposób wykorzystują tego typu narracje do budowania nowych, wyimaginowanych światów. Kwiaty w pudełku autorstwa Karoliny Bednarz stanowią reprezentatywny przykład takiego źródła.
