W refleksji nad archiwizacją Internetu, rozumianą bardzo szeroko i obejmującą takie zasoby cyfrowe jak klasyczne strony WWW, poczta elektroniczna czy serwisy społecznościowe, nie można ograniczać się wyłącznie do kontekstu działań instytucjonalnych i administracyjnych prowadzonych już przez archiwa czy biblioteki narodowe. Artykuł proponuje przegląd oddolnych i obywatelskich inicjatyw archiwizacji Webu.

In the discussion on archiving the Internet, in the very broad sense, including digital materials like WWW sites, electronic mail or social networks, one cannot focus just on the context of institutional and administrative actions, already taken by archives or national libraries. The articles proposes a review of grassroots and citizen initiatives of archiving the Web.

W artykule podjęto próbę odpowiedzi na pytanie dotyczące obecności i wytworów człowieka w sieci Internet z punktu widzenia archiwistyki odpowiadającej na wyzwania współczesnej humanistyki. Przyjrzano się działaniom podejmowanym przez człowieka w Internecie w kontekście oferowanych możliwości. Zwrócono także uwagę na obecnie stosowane sposoby archiwizacji zasobów Internetu, co pozwoliło na wyciągnięcie ogólnych wniosków na temat czynników, które najczęściej decydują o archiwizacji zasobów Internetu. Podejście do archiwizacji Internetu od strony archiwistyki zantropologizowanej wymaga zastosowania odpowiednich strategii archiwizacyjnych. Podstawą w budowaniu tych strategii powinna z kolei być analiza działań i wytworów ludzkich, zwrócenie uwagi na aktywności człowieka w Internecie i jego wytwory – w sieci zamieszczane i w sieci powstające.

The article is an attempt to answer the question about presence and products of a man on the Web from the point of view of archival science, which meets a challenge of contemporary humanities. The author studied actions taken by a man on the Internet in the context of possibilities offered. Some attention was paid to currently used methods of archiving the Web, what enabled the author to draw some general conclusions about factors, which mostly decide about archiving the Internet. The approach of anthropology-oriented archival science to archiving the Internet requires implementation of proper archiving strategies. A key in studying these strategies should be analysis of actions and products of people, paying attention to activities of a man on the Internet and his/her products – put on the Web and created on the Web.

W obecnych czasach bez wątpienia Internet odgrywa ogromną rolę w życiu codziennym. Staliśmy się społeczeństwem informacyjnym, które nieustannie poszukuje informacji. Coraz więcej spraw możemy załatwić za pomocą komputera, a życie prywatne w znacznym stopniu przeniosło się do świata wirtualnego. Artykuł jest próbą odpowiedzi na następujące pytania: jakie informacje są umieszczane na stronach BIP-u, jaka jest ich wartość dla prowadzonych badań, czy są to informacje niepowtarzalne, jakie informacje są umieszczanie na stronach internetowych podmiotów zobowiązanych do prowadzenia Biuletynu, jaki te informacje mają charakter oraz jaki jest stosunek zawartości stron internetowych tych podmiotów do zawartości ich BIP-u

There is no doubt, that contemporary the Internet plays an enormous role in everyday life. We became the information society, which constantly seeks information. More and more errands can be run by using computer, and a big part of personal life has been moved to the virtual world. The article is an attempt to answer the following questions: what information is put on PIB’s sites, what is their value for research, is this information unique, what information is put on websites of subjects obliged to run the Bulletin, what is the character of the information, and what is the relation between content of these subjects’ websites and their PIB’s content.

Chodzi o zachowanie osobistych zbiorów cyfrowych. Szczegółowej analizie zawartości, analizie źródłoznawczej i ego-dokumentalnej została poddana witryna filmweb.pl.

The article introduces deliberations concerning value and content of users’ profiles on hobby web portals. The studied issue is a part of a wider problem, touching preservation of personal digital materials. The portal filmweb.pl was specifically studied on the basis of content analysis, source analysis and ego-document analysis.
