Military parade registers, which function as both military and financial documentation, are some of the most important documents providing insight into the functioning of the Old Polish army. Their reliable preparation was a condition of the proper pay soldiers received for their service. The discussed register covers two regiments of arquebuse raiders of Jarosz (Hieronim) and Krzysztof Pigłowski, who in 1651 changed their enlistment from the local to the state government. The registers were drafted in October 1651 and reflected the payouts for the year’s fourth quarter.

Jednymi z najważniejszych dokumentów pozwalających poznać funkcjonowanie armii staropolskiej są rejestry popisowe, będące aktami skarbowo-wojskowymi. Od ich rzetelnego sporządzenia zależała właściwa wypłata żołdu żołnierzom za ich służbę. Przedstawiony rejestr dotyczy dwóch chorągwi arkebuzerskich braci Jarosza (Hieronima) i Krzysztofa Pigłowskich, którzy w 1651 r. przeszli z zaciągu samorządowego na państwowy. Rejestry zostały sporządzone w październiku 1651 r. i były podstawą do wyliczenia żołdu za czwarty kwartał.
