The aim of the article is to describe selected determinants of creating architectural standards of assisted housing for elderly personsand people with neurological diseases. At the forefront of attention is adapting the guidelines for creating spatial solutions to the needsof future users, which are analyzed on the basis of objective “Development of deinstitutionalized model solutions”, which is a part of the project“Independent life – developing a standard and carrying out the piloting in the area of assisted living for persons suffering from neurologicaldisorders, including Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s diseases and elderly people”. The results of the conducted research are an element of the contemporarydiscussion on the development of new forms of assisted living for social inclusion emerging in Poland.

Celem artykułu jest opisanie wybranych uwarunkowań tworzenia standardu mieszkań wspomaganych dla seniorów oraz osóbz chorobami neurologicznymi. Przedmiotem uwagi jest dostosowanie wytycznych z obszaru kreowania rozwiązań przestrzennych do potrzebprzyszłych użytkowników, co analizuje się na podstawie wniosków z zadania „Opracowanie modelowego standardu/rozwiązania z zakresudeinstytucjonalizacji”, będącego częścią projektu „Niezależne życie – wypracowanie standardu oraz przeprowadzenie pilotażu w zakresiemieszkalnictwa wspomaganego dla osób z chorobami neurologicznymi, w tym z chorobą Alzheimera i chorobą Parkinsona oraz osób starszych”.Wyniki przeprowadzonych badań stanowią element aktualnie prowadzonej dyskusji nad rozwojem nowych form mieszkalnictwa, powstającychw Polsce z myślą o wspieraniu samodzielności osób zagrożonych wykluczeniem społecznym.
