W artykule przeprowadzono badanie wpływu struktury geograficznej importu surowców energetycznych na bezpieczeństwo energetyczne Polski. Wykazano, że polska gospodarka jest zależna od importu ropy naftowej i gazu ziemnego. Ta zależność stale rośnie. Tworzy to ryzyko nacisków politycznych i okresowych przerw w dostawach surowców energetycznych. Zauważalna jest jednak dywersyfikacja nośników energii. Stale rosnący udział odnawialnych źródeł energii w polskim bilansie energetycznym wpływa na poprawę bilansu energetycznego kraju. Podnosi to poziom bezpieczeństwa energetycznego Polski.

In this paper the research on influence of geographical structure of energy sources import on Poland’s energy security was carried. It was showed that polish economy is dependent on crude oil and natural gas import. This relation is constantly rising. It creates the risk of political pressure and periodical stoppage of energy sources supplies. But the diversification of energy carriers is noticed. Continuously increasing participation of renewable energy source in Polish energy balance improves its energy autonomy. It raises Polish energy security.
