The study presents the range of current european researches carried out under the FreSsco project referring to the obstacles in exercising the right to freedom of movement. It was agreed that the amount of regulations in European law, concerning this area, is further upsizing. In order to ensure the application of EU regulations (Regulation No 492/2011) the directives are being created (eg. Of Directive 2004/38 and 2014/54 / EU). European researches show that in the EU countries occur the practices contrary to EU law. These are practices which discriminate or limit the freedom of movement of persons and workers.

W opracowaniu przedstawiono zakres aktualnych badań europejskich realizowanych w projekcie FreSsco dotyczących przeszkód w realizacji prawa do swobody przemieszczania się. Ustalono, że stan prawa UE ulega dalszemu rozbudowaniu. W celu zapewnienia stosowania unijnych rozporządzeń (rozporządzenie nr 492/2011) wydawane są dyrektywy (np. dyrektywy 2004/38 i 2014/54/UE). Z badań europejskich wynika, że w państwach UE występują praktyki niezgodne z prawem UE. Są to praktyki dyskryminujące lub ograniczające korzystanie ze swobody przepływu osób oraz pracowników.
