W artykule omówiono funkcjonowanie Biblioteki Politechniki Poznańskiej w okresie nadzwyczajnym i niespotykanym w stuletniej historii tej placówki, tj. okresie pandemii Covid-19 i restrykcji z tym związanych. Zaprezentowano sposoby przeorganizowania dotychczasowych zadań, omówiono nowe rozwiązania zastosowane w świadczonych zwykle usługach oraz opisano zupełnie nowe pomysły w tym zakresie. Zwrócono uwagę na wielką mobilność i kreatywność pracowników biblioteki oraz chęć pomocy użytkownikom, którzy z dnia na dzień zostali pozbawieni dostępu do zbiorów, usług i przede wszystkim przestrzeni, z której dotąd tak chętnie korzystali.

This article discusses functioning of the Library of the Poznań University of Technology in the extraordinary period, unprecedented in the hundred years' history of this institution, i.e. the period of the Covid-19 pandemic and restrictions associated with it. It presents ways of reorganizing current tasks, new solutions applied in usually provided services, and brand new ideas in the new situation. The article emphasizes the great mobility and creativity of the library employees and their willingness to assist the users who were suddenly deprived of access to the library resources, services and above all the space which until then they had been using intensively.

„Literacki Kraków”, czyli wystawa jako forma działalności edukacyjnej w bibliotece akademickiej

Artykuł podejmuje zagadnienie organizowania wystaw przez biblioteki akademickie. Przeglądowi literatury krajowej i zagranicznej na ten temat towarzyszy opis ekspozycji przygotowanej przez Bibliotekę Główną Uniwersytetu Pedagogicznego we współpracy z Krakowskim Biurem Festiwalowym pod tytułem „Literacki Kraków”. Scharakteryzowano elementy wystawy, które spełniały funkcję edukacyjną. Zwrócono uwagę na znaczenie wystaw w promocji bibliotek i upowszechnianiu informacji o zbiorach. Zasygnalizowano potrzebę podjęcia badań na temat działalności wystawienniczej bibliotek.

Exhibitions organised by university libraries are the primary subject of this article. A brief look at existing Polish and non-Polish literature on the topic is accompanied by a description of the exhibition entitled “Literary Cracow” organised by the Main Library of the Pedagogical University of Cracow in cooperation with the Krakow Festival Office. Educational elements of the exhibition are highlighted, and attention is drawn to the role of exhibitions in promoting libraries and raising awareness of their collections. The need to undertake further research on the exhibition activities of libraries is indicated.

W artykule przedstawiono zmiany, jakie zaszły w sposobie prowadzenia szkoleń bibliotecznych podczas pandemii Covid-19. Zajęcia prowadzone dotychczas w formie blended learning, a więc częściowo na miejscu w Bibliotece Głównej, częściowo na platformie Moodle, przybrały w roku akademickim 2020/2021 wyłącznie formę kształcenia zdalnego. Omówienie zawiera analizę zarówno wszystkich elementów kursu, jak i kształconych w jego trakcie kompetencji.

This article describes how library induction training is given during the pandemic. Before changes brought about by the pandemic crisis these classes for first-year students were given in a form of blended-learning - partly onsite in the Main Library and partly online on the Moodle e-Learning platform. As a result of the pandemic, this training has been redesigned and for the academic year 2020/2021 library induction training for students will be conducted online only.
