Książki obrazkowe ukazujące traumatyczne przeżycia żydowskich dzieci wprowadzają młodych czytelników w obszar literatury podejmującej tematy trudne. Prezentują obrazy Zagłady widzianej z perspektywy dziecka. Stają się jedną z form pamięci o drugiej wojnie światowej. Tematem niniejszego artykułu jest obraz żydowskiego dziecka i pamięć o wojnie w najnowszej literaturze dziecięcej o Zagładzie. Poddano w nim analizie wybrane ilustracje, a także najważniejsze środki artystyczne, wpływające na odczytanie i zrozumienie przekazu ikonicznego.
