W artykule szczegółowo omówiono katechizmy dla dzieci i młodzieży opublikowane w Polsce w latach 1945–1949. W bibliografii zamieszczono 58 tego typu pozycji. Wyróżnikiem gatunku jest jego silna standaryzacja oraz adaptacje i skróty. Autorami katechizmów byli bez wyjątku księża. Najwięcej pozycji opublikowano w 1949 r. Najważniejszymi wydawcami były kurie diecezjalne, m.in. w Katowicach, Kielcach, Olsztynie, wydawnictwa zakonne, ale też i świeckie. Prezentowany materiał analizowano z autopsji na podstawie egzemplarzy zachowanych w Bibliotece Narodowej. Zbiór został podzielony na następujące podgrupy: 1. Katechizmy przygotowujące do pierwszej spowiedzi i komunii św., 2. Katechizmy ogólne / skrócone, 3. Katechizmy dla młodzieży.

The article discusses catechisms for children and youth published in Poland in the years 1945-1949. The bibliography includes 58 catechisms. What is a characteristic feature of the genre is its visible standardization, adaptations and shortened versions. Catechisms were written by priests. Most of them were published in 1949. The most significant publishers were diocesan curias in Katowice, Kielce, Olsztyn, monastic and secular publishing houses. The presented material was examined on the basis of the copies preserved in the National Library. The collection was divided into the following sub-sections: 1. Catechisms preparing to the first confession and communion, 2. General/shortened catechisms, 3. Catechisms for the youth.

Im vorliegenden Text wurden Kinder- und Jugendkatechismen, die in Polen 1945–1949 erschienen, detailliert besprochen. Man stößt in der Bibliografie auf 58 derartige Veröffentlichungen. Charakteristisch für diese Gattung ist ihre starke Standarisierung sowie zahlreiche Bearbeitungen und Kürzungen. Die Autoren der Katechismen waren ohne Ausnahme Priester. Die meisten Katechismen wurden 1949 publiziert. Unter den wichtigsten Herausgebern findet man die Diözesankurien u. a. in Katowitz, Kielce, Allenstein, die Ordensverlage, aber auch weltliche Verlagshäuser. Das Material, auf das man eingeht, wird aus eigener Erfahrung aufgrund von jenen Exemplaren analysiert, die in der Nationalbibliothek aufbewahrt werden. Die Sammlung wurde in die folgenden Gruppen eingeteilt: 1. Katechismen vor der ersten Beichte und der Kommunion, 2. Allgemeine / gekürzte Katechismen, 3. Katechismen für Jugendliche.
