Agricultural production depends on natural and economic conditions. Weak environmental conditions could be compensated by using high technology, which requires capital. Agricultural prices should evolve in a similar way in regions with similar natural conditions, i.e. spatial autocorrelation should take place. The aim of this article is to present the spatial autocorrelation of animal for slaughter prices. Local and global I Moran’s statistics were used.

Celem badań było przedstawienie regionalnego zróżnicowania cen skupu produktów rolnych (zwłaszcza bydła i trzody) w Polsce w latach 2005-2012 oraz identyfikacja występowania autokorelacji przestrzennej. Do badania przestrzennego zróżnicowania cen wykorzystano statystyki lokalne i globalne I Morana. Dowiedziono, że w odniesieniu do cen skupu żywca występuje autokorelacja przestrzenna oraz wskazano jej zróżnicowanie przestrzenne na terenie Polski.
