The article presents the introduction of online learning at universities in Poland, which was a solution aimed at preventing, countering and combating COVID-19. Attention was drawn to the perception of this change by the stakeholders, i.e. students. The analysis examines students’ concerns regarding the implementation of this form of learning in selected areas related to access to technology, the organization of classes, and the participation in them, social interactions and administrative activities. The aim of the research was also to ascertain students’ opinions on the consequences of the implemented change and on the actions aimed at facilitating the transition to online learning undertaken by the authorities and university employees. The research was conducted with the use of an electronic survey questionnaire. The responses of 189 full-time university students were analyzed. Based on the results of the research, communication between students and university authorities, as well as the involvement of participants in the process of change were considered as key elements in the implementation of online learning. Among the important activities there were those that enable participation in online learning (provision of equipment, programs, licenses) and those that support learning (access to library resources). As regards the latter, conclusions were formulated concerning the planning of teaching, i.e. the content and the way of transferring knowledge.

W artykule zaprezentowano cztery case studies działających na rynku polskim przedsiębiorstw sektora browarniczego. Zostały one wyselekcjonowane na podstawie nietypowych wartości różnych miar efektywności ekonomicznej (ROS, rotacja zapasów, wskaźnik zadłużenia ogólnego) pojawiających się w ich analizach wskaźnikowych. Takie wartości towarzyszą bowiem zwykle burzliwym zmianom w przedsiębiorstwach. Stabilizowanie się wartości miar prawdopodobnie częściej odnosi się do sanacji, zaś labilność – do nasilania się zjawisk kryzysowych bądź zamykania działalności.

The article presents four case studies of brewery companies which display very strange values in their ratios analysis (ROS, inventory turnover in days, CCC). That values are, in the opinion of the authors, indicators of dramatic changes in the scope of market strategies, ownership or others. In some cases they are indicators of the termination of their activity. Stabilization of values of economic efficiency ratios usually accompanies the improvement processes in corporation, and in turn their loosening accompanies the progression of the crisis.

W artykule przedstawiono warunki skutecznej zmiany, strategie jej wdrażania, przyczyny braku akceptacji zmiany oraz wyjaśniono, z czego wynika opór wobec niej. We wnioskach natomiast wskazano kierunki działań, które powinny być podjęte przed wprowadzeniem zmian w oświacie. Artykuł skłania do refleksji: Czy każda zmiana jest konieczna? Jakie będą jej skutki?

In the article there have been presented conditions for successful change and change man-agement implementation strategy. On top of that there have been given typical reasons for lack of change acceptance by the associates and their resistance to it. As a conclusion author points reader in direction of actions to be made before implementing changes in the field of education. Article is thought-provoking on necessity to implement all the changes and what would be their potential consequences.
