The purpose of this article I sa reflection onmethodological and substantive suitability of the term “dialogue” as the concept of significant contemporary humanities. We want to make an attempt to answer the question whet her using the concept of dialogue, we are able to capture the phenomena in the space of interpersonal communications. Perhaps the notion that does not exhaust the richness of the content of contemporary reality, devalue ingitsscientificvalue? In addition, an author interested in the question of whether dialogue as aphilosophical problems tillremains valid? The question is so reason ablethat modern researchers describe the current space communications, rather than the concept of dialogueare increasingly willing touse words: relationship, interaction or communication. Arethese concept sactuallyrevealmorethanthe concept of “dialogue”?

Celem artykułu jest refleksja nad metodologiczną i merytoryczną przydatnością określenia „dialog” jako pojęcia istotnego dla współczesnej humanistyki. Chcemy dokonać próby odpowiedzi na pytanie, czy za pomocą pojęcia dialogu jesteśmy w stanie uchwycić zjawiska zachodzące w przestrzeni komunikatów międzyludzkich. Być może pojęcie to nie wyczerpuje bogactwa treści współczesnej rzeczywistości, dewaluując swą naukową wartość? Ponadto, autora interesuje pytanie, czy dialog jako problem filozoficzny wciąż pozostaje aktualny? Pytanie jest o tyle zasadne, że współcześni badacze opisujący aktualną przestrzeń komunikacyjną, zamiast pojęciem dialogu coraz chętniej posługują się określeniami: relacja, interakcja czy komunikacja. Czy terminy te faktycznie odsłaniają więcej niż pojęcie „dialog”?
