W obecnej rzeczywistości istotnym celem ludzkich dążeń jest osiągnięcie sukcesu. Kojarzy się on ze zrealizowaniem własnych zamierzeń i planów, osiągnięciem wysokiej pozycji społecznej, sławą, majątkiem czy prestiżem. Sukces można osiągnąć w wielu dziedzinach – nie tylko w aktywności zawodowej, pnąc się po szczeblach kariery, ale również w sferze rodzinnej. Wtedy wydaje się mniej spektakularny, co nie oznacza jednak, że nie daje człowiekowi satysfakcji, poczucia szczęścia i zadowolenia. Nie ulega wątpliwości, iż ważną płaszczyzną osiągania sukcesu jest rodzicielska praktyka wychowawcza. W niniejszym artykule poruszonoten właśnie problem, który stanowi próbę spojrzenia na sukces wychowawczy oczami kobiet-matek w okresie wczesnej dorosłości. Jak wynika z badań, młode kobiety utożsamiają sukces wychowawczy z sytuacją, gdy dziecko jest w pełni samodzielne, wyrosło na wartościowego człowieka, jest szczęśliwe, a z rodzicem łączą go dobre relacje, które w przyszłości zaowocują bliskością i wzajemnym wsparciem.

Nowadays one of the most spectacular objective of human efforts is to achieve success. Success is associated with fulfillment of one’s own intentions and plans, achievement of high social status, fame, wealth or prestige. Success may be attained in many areas of life aside from professional activity and climbing the career ladder, but also in family life. The latter may seem less spectacular, but it does not mean that it cannot give satisfaction, sense of happiness and gladness. Undoubtedly, one of the key aspects of being successful is parental educational activity. This problem is discussed in the present article, which attempts to look at educational success with the eyes of young adult mothers. The study shows that young mothers associate educational success with the situation when their child is fully independent, grows out to be a valuable individual, is happy and has good relations with his/her parents, which will evolve into the sense of closeness and mutual support in the future.
