This article refers to entrepreneurship as a key skill. It presents the components of the innovative concept of kindergarten and early school teacher training in this area, which has been carried out since the academic year 2019/2020 at the Institute of Pedagogy of the University of Wrocław. It introduces the reconstruction of the meaning attached to the notion of entrepreneurship in the Finnish approach using the method of semantic field analysis, which has been the basis for the development of these assumptions.

A range of issues associated with responsible parenthood and presented in Pope Paul VI’s encyclical letter Humanae vitae seems to be an interesting proposal for proclaiming good news about marriage and family to contemporary people. With regard to man's innate drives and emotions, responsible parenthood means that man's reason and will must exert control over them. However, marriage and conjugal love are by their nature ordained not only toward the procreation, but also education of children. This, in turn, is not limited only to life on earth, but also to eternity. Focusing on intrinsic relationship between marital act and procreation can be used in a dialogue with infertile married people. However, it has to be presented in a comprehensible way for young people by resorting to personalistic anthropology and a range of branches of science devoted to mankind so that they could understand that in the procreative faculty the human mind discerns biological laws that apply to the human person. Only then will the teaching of the Church about responsible parenthood become a powerful tool in new evangelization.

The Institution for Special Education at the Faculty of Pedagogic of the University of Kaposvár has been engaged in animal assisted activities for about three years. Our most recent research program was conducted for over two month in the Spring of 2014 with the involvement of 66 children - all kindergarten and elementary school age -, 11 special educators, physicians, psychologists, special educators, teachers, ethologists. The primary focus of our research was the development (and examination) of memory however observations with ethological and mental hygiene angles were a natural segment of our work. A significant part of the observations pointed to factors that both the children and their educators have experienced: the acceptance of each-other, an increased level of tolerance, an increased attention level towards the partner (human and animal). The teachers gave account of their respective observations in a small conference at the end of the last school year. Researches were offered a glimpse into the unique world of the relationship between a part of “living nature” - the pygmy rabbit in our case - and humans. During the 12 sessions of the training our colleagues have made observations that could serve as basis for a new system of paradigms of animal assisted pedagogics in the future. Our experience can also be re-considered with aspects of remedial pedagogics: we are convinced that animal assistance can become an accentuated part of the care of children and students with impairments. This is also implied by the fact that preparatory works for the continuation of this research at a kindergarten and at a school are already in progress.

The focus on children’s well-being is fundamental to any child-centred policy. Hence, migrating children’s interests are usually considered in a migrant context rather than in the best interests of the child, highlighting the challenges of implementing child-centred asylum policies in practice. Based on this observation, the paper focuses on the discrepancies between the legal provisions for the reception of minor asylum seekers in Poland and practice on the ground: how they serve the education opportunities for such children, as the only social area where the child-centred approach is detectable. The paper discusses the extent to which the legal provisions of the Polish migration law are suitable for adopting a child-centred approach in the asylum procedure to enable children to continue their education. It is further explored in connection to the Micreate fieldwork study with asylum-seeking children. The paper analyses specific institutions to assess their potential for implementing child-centred management in the reception and integration of asylum seekers and to highlight the obstacles in this direction. Finally, the paper formulates recommendations for necessary changes and shifts in practice to recognise the children-friendly practices in asylum procedures.
