This article presents the results of the vacancy rate research of commercial premises in downtown of Szczecin in the years 2011 and 2013. It has been shown that vacancy rates are characterised by a large variation in the location of the premises on different streets and location of premises in buildings as well as changes over time.

W artykule przedstawiono wyniki badań poziomu pustostanów lokali użytkowych w śródmiejskiej strefie Szczecina w latach 2011 i 2013. Wykazano, że wskaźniki pustostanów cechuje duże zróżnicowanie pod względem lokalizacji lokali na różnych ulicach i usytuowania lokali w budynkach, a także zmiany w czasie.
