W artykule zaprezentowano główne problemy dotyczące innowacji w systemie usług finansowych na przykładzie odwróconej hipoteki. Przedstawiono doświadczenia krajów wyżej rozwiniętych, a także sytuację na rynku polskim oraz wyniki badań bezpośrednich dotyczące postrzegania usługi odwróconej hipoteki w Polsce. Mogą one być pomocne w procesie zarządzania tą innowacją w instytucjach ją oferujących.

In the article, there are presented the main problems concerning innovation in the system of financial services on the example of reverse mortgage. There are presented experience of more developed countries as well as the situation in the Polish market and results of direct research concerning perception of the service of reverse mortgage in Poland. They may be helpful in the process of managing this innovation at institutions offering it.
