Artykuł jest dedykowany prof. Eugenii Annie Wesołowskiej. Uwagi dotyczące poradnictwa ukazują jego przydatność i rozwój we współczesnym zmiennym i nieprzewidywalnym świecie oraz rolę w życiu ludzi z niego korzystających. W związku z tym, zwrócono w nim uwagę, że po pierwsze, poradnictwo - które głównie polega na radzeniu, doradzaniu, udzielaniu porad i konsultacji, prowadzeniu indywidualnej lub grupowej „łagodnej terapii” przez doradcę dla/wobec/z radzącym się - stanowi taką społeczną praktykę, jaka może być przedmiotem badań naukowych odrębnej dyscypliny. Po drugie, uprawiając poradoznawstwo, na ową praktykę można spojrzeć z poziomu mikro, perspektywy mezo i perspektywy makro. I po trzecie, różnicowanie się praktyki, poradnictwa na wszystkich tych poziomach może mieć różne podstawy, ale jego cechy konstytutywne są stałe, a ujęte w 9 punktach, wskazują na cel poradnictwa, stosowane metody i społeczno-kulturowe konteksty jego realizacji.

The article is dedicated to Professor Eugenia Anna Wesołowska. It reflects on counselling, highlighting the utility and development of counselling practices in the changeable and unpredictable world of our times as well as spelling out the relevance of counselling in the lives of counselees. Firstly, counselling is conceived of as a social practice involving providing advice, guidance, consultation, recommendation and a range of individual and group “mild therapy” forms conducted by a counsellor for/vis-a-vis/with a counselee. This social practice can be an object of research within a separate discipline. Secondly, this practice, if studied within the framework of counselogy, can be examined in terms of its micro-, meso- and macro-levels. And, thirdly, although counselling practices are diverse and expand at all three levels for different reasons, counselling constitutive features remain the same. Classified in nine points, they define the aim of counselling, the methods applied in counselling and the socio-cultural contexts in which counselling is implemented.
