Artykuł skupia się na ogólnym porównaniu systemów edukacyjnych w Czechach i w Polsce na wszystkich poziomach. Wyjaśnia zmiany w szkolnictwie czeskim w szkołach podstawowych i średnich, częściowo informuje o szkolnictwie polskim w Czechach (na Zaolziu). Ostatni rozdział opisuje ścieżkę przyrodniczą zbudowaną w pobliżu jednego zwykłego osiedlowego gimnazjum, która pokazuje, jak można uatrakcyjnić naukę również innym sposobem, aniżeli najnowszymi technologiami.

The article focuses on the differences in the education system in the Czech Republic and Poland at all levels. The text explains the changes in the Czech education in primary and secondary schools. It also partly discusses Polish education on Czech territory. The last part describes the nature trail near an ordinary lower secondary school in an urban area, which shows how teaching can be improved in other ways, not only by using new technologies.
