The purpose of the article is to describe the activities of selected institutions that, in the author’s opinion, undertake educational activities targeted at older people, which are of particular importance in the context of the polifromism of the old age. The article notes that educational activity of the elderly is important for many reasons. It allows the elders to maintain mental performance, understand new phenomena, and adopt to new circumstances. In addition, the multitude of forms and activities addressed to seniors confirm their value for the development of the elderly

W artykule skoncentrowano się na aktywności edukacyjnej w wybranych placówkach działających na rzecz osób starszych. Celem prezentowanego artykułu jest opis działalności wybranych instytucji, które w przekonaniu autora podejmują działania edukacyjne w różnych grupach wiekowych osób starszych, co nabiera szczególnego znaczenia w kontekście poliformiczności starości. W artykule zwrócono uwagę, że aktywność edukacyjna osób starszych jest ważna z wielu powodów, najważniejszym jest ten, że pozwala ona utrzymać sprawność umysłową, rozumieć nowe zjawiska i zmiany oraz pozytywnie adaptować się do nowych życia. Ponadto wielość form i możliwości adresowanych w tym zakresie do seniorów potwierdza jej wartość dla rozwoju osób starszych.
