The article concerns the relationship between beauty and a lawyer’s professional work. I attempt to: 1) discover and describe the activities that are particular of such work as well as are determined by beauty; 2) characterize the way in which beauty determines these activates; and 3) point out ontological reasons of this determination. The reflections do not, however, include all activities which the lawyer’s craft consists in, but are limited to those in the course of which decisions are made. Beauty determines a lawyer’s work via the process of decision-making; and if a decision is conceived as an act of cooperation between intellect and will, then the decision is related to beauty in three ways. First of all, beauty constitutes a sine qua non for finding out the circumstances in which the decision is made. Additionally, beauty suggests to the decision-maker the options as the optimal means to an end. Finally, beauty influences the approval of a decision already made.

Artykuł dotyczy relacji pomiędzy pięknem i pracą zawodową prawnika. Podejmuję mianowicie próbę: a) wyszukania aktywności, które są specyficzne dla tego rodzaju pracy i zarazem pozostają zdeterminowane przez piękno; b) scharakteryzowania tego, jak piękno określa te aktywności; oraz c) wskazania podstawowych przyczyn bytowych tego określania. Dociekania nie obejmują wszystkich aktywności prawniczych, lecz jedynie te, w toku których podejmowane są decyzję. Piękno określa bowiem pracę prawnika poprzez proces podejmowania decyzji; a jeżeli decyzja stanowi akt współpracy intelektu i woli, to zależność decyzji od piękna jest trojaka. Otóż, przede wszystkim, piękno stanowi warunek konieczny wynajdywania okoliczności, w których decyzja jest podejmowana. Ponadto, piękno pozostaje czynnikiem sugerującym decydującemu opcje jako optymalne środki do celu, jak również wpływającym na akceptację podjętej już decyzji.

The article undertakes the problems of the behaviour and prognose in the mutual manager understanding. It is based on investigations of the range of different fields: sociology, management, psychology. This interdisciplinary approach is typical for the social sciences, especially for the theory of social communication. Authors show the role of the essence of the subconscious predictable of the superior's behaviour and subordinate, what they explain on examples of different situations. They give the pattern of different versions of expectations and they come to the conclusion about necessity of investigations of psychological aspects of manager communication during training of staff in the managements.
