Wśród osób niepełnosprawnych są też takie, które potrzebują dodatkowej, odpowiedniej pomocy, ponieważ problemem jest dla nich samodzielne wykonywanie pewnych zadań. Wsparcie mogą im wówczas zapewnić wolontariusze, czyli osoby, które niosą pomoc potrzebującym, nie czerpiąc z tego żadnych korzyści finansowych. Zadania wolontariusza zależą przede wszystkim od tego, w jakim stanie znajduje się człowiek, któremu ma on zapewnić pomoc. Celem artykułu jest przedstawienie wolontariatu wśród osób niepełnosprawnych jako przykładu zachowania prospołecznego. Priorytetowe zagadnienia dotyczą zarysowania teorii wyjaśniających zachowania prospołeczne. Zaprezentowane tu zostały sytuacyjne oraz środowiskowe determinanty pomagania.

Among people with disabilities are also those who need extra, appropriate assistance, because the problem is for them alone to perform certain tasks. The support they may then provide volunteers or people who are assisting the needy, not drawing from any financial benefits. Volunteer tasks depend primarily on what condition is the man to whom they provide assistance. The aim of the article is to present voluntary work among people with disabilities as an example of pro-social behavior. Priority issues include scratch theories pro-social behavior. Presented here are situational and environmental determinants of help.
