The article deals with the influence of teacher’s profession on teacher’s personality, his psychological state and professional health. The author analyses consequenses of negative influence of teaching activity that violate harmonious development of a teacher’s personality (professional destructions, professional deformation, professional burnout), ways of their prevention and cure.
