Wielkopolskie rzemiosło w procesie kształcenia kadr

At a time of high unemployment rate among youth and a continued lack of conformity between trends in education and demands voiced by employers, attention is drawn to the so-called dual education, viz. instruction conducted in parallel (alternately) at school and at the workplace – a system highly valued in the EU for enhancing the opportunities of youth on the job market. Vocational training of youth employees, which is the Polish model of dual education, is in nearly 80% conducted by crafts and trades enterprises. The object of the article is to present the role of the Greater Poland crafts and trades in the process of personnel training. In the last 25 years a decline in the vocational training in largescale industry has been observed in Poland. In this situation the local economic boards of crafts and trades chambers as a sector of small and medium-sized production and service enterprises assumed responsibility for training human resources for the national economy. Research done among graduates of vocational training in crafts and trades enterprises and among master craftsmen who performed the training as part of a project called “Socially responsible crafts and trades” implemented by the Greater Poland Chamber of Crafts and Trades, confirmed the observation that dual education is a gateway to permanent employment in professions which are in demand on the job market.

The article substantiates the necessity of introducing the dual education elements into professional training of future specialists. They are listed. As a result of the SWOT analysis for the following process it was defined its strengths (VET regulation by principles of a market economy, increased demand in the labour market for dual education graduates, VET quality corresponded to employers’ requirements; close cooperation between government and business-sector for VET issues; mutually beneficial VET for the state, enterprises and VET institutions; increasing students’ motivation to learning; increasing the prestige of VET) and weak (lack of legal support for dual form of education; imperfection and obsolescence of the material and technical base of P(V)E institutions; insufficient readiness of teachers to introduce dual form of education; the difficulty of finding appropriate enterprises and setting agreements with employers; employers’ reluctance to enter into agreements with students at the beginning of their training; significant time and financial costs for updating the technological park of P(V)E institution ; the need for special psychological and pedagogical training of mentors, instructors – production workers; imperfection of mechanisms for implementing multichannel financing of VET). The questions concerning the dual education system in Ukraine were studied by scientists: N. Abashkina, V. Anischenko, I. Boychevska, T. Kozak, N. Nychkalo, V. Radkevych and others. It is shown that the dual form of education can be a tool for providing education for the sustainable development of society. The features of the dual form of education in Ukraine are analyzed: strengthening the practical component of VET; intellectualization and individualization of VET; the implementation of VET in a real production environment; development of social partnership in VET institution; conformity of VET in VET institution with the regional infrastructure; mentor system introduction; creating innovative educational and production environment for VET. The organizational basis for VET education introduction in P(V)E institutions is given to ensure sustainable the development of society.

W ramach swoich działań statutowych Rzeszowska Agencja Rozwoju Regionalnego S.A. za-rządza strefami inwestycyjnymi, w których przedsiębiorcy z całego świata lokują swoje biznesy. Okazuje się, że w ostatnim czasie wielu z nich ma poważne problemy z młodymi pracownikami, którzy opuszczają mury uczelni i podejmują pierwszą pracę, trafiając do zespołów, które stanowią kopie amerykańskich, kanadyjskich, niemieckich, włoskich i innych działów firm macierzystych. Okazuje się, że model kształcenia na poziomie wyższym obecny w Polsce znacząco różni się od potrzeb współczesnych pracodawców. Celem artykułu jest próba ukazania zjawiska luki kompe-tencyjnej wśród polskich pracowników na przykładzie branży lotniczej i motoryzacyjnej.

To begin discussions about changes, the education system in Poland should certainly begin to reflect on this issue, from the question of whether the changes are necessary, more precisely, which elements of the education system do not keep pace with the needs of modern employers, or the answer to the question whether the system should be self-confident that it reforms towards the real needs of the labor market? The aim of the article will be an attempt to indicate the directions of changes in the education system in Poland.

Wdrażana reforma oświaty w zakresie szkolnictwa zawodowego znajduje się obecnie w początkowym stadium. Zapoczątkowała ją aktualizacja klasyfikacji zawodów oraz wprowadzenie szkół branżowych. Ministerstwo Edukacji Narodowej aktualnie kładzie duży nacisk na rozwój szkolnictwa zawodowego. Zainicjowany proces zmian, m.in. dzięki wprowadzeniu kształcenia dualnego, ma na celu dostosowanie systemu kształcenia zawodowego do potrzeb nowoczesnej gospodarki. Ścisła współpraca szkół zawodowych z lokalnymi przedsiębiorcami ma za zadanie promować szkolnictwo zawodowe i zwiększać jego prestiż w społeczeństwie. Założenia reformy są ze wszech miar słuszne, ale póki co nie znajdują bezpośredniego przełożenia na zainteresowanie uczniów, którzy niezbyt chętnie decydują się na kształcenie w szkołach branżowych.

The implementation of the education reform associated with vocational education is at its initial stages. It started with the updated classification of occupations and the introduction of trade schools. The Ministry of National Education of the Republic of Poland is currently focusing on the development of vocational education. The process of change initiated in particular by the introduction of dual education aims at linking the system of vocational training with the needs of modern economy. Close cooperation of schools and the local entrepreneurs measures to the promotion of vocational education and increasing its prestige in the society. The objectives of the reform are right but so far there has been no direct impact on the interests of students, who are reluctant to educate in trade schools.

Szkolnictwo zawodowe znajduje się obecnie na początku zmian, które rozpoczęły się od aktualizacji klasyfikacji zawodów oraz wprowadzenia szkół branżowych. W niniejszym artykule podjęto próbę subiektywnej oceny propozycji wprowadzanych rozwiązań dotyczących podniesienia efektywności kształcenia zawodowego i zwiększenia jego prestiżu w społeczeństwie na tle oczekiwań rynku pracy.

Vocational education is currently at the beginning of the changes, which began with the update of the classification of professions and the introduction of industry schools. This article attempts to show a subjective assessment of the proposed solutions to increase the effectiveness of vocational education and increase its prestige in society in the light of the expectations of the labour market.

The article is an attempt to determine the area of research related to the importance of dual vocational training of adolescents in the process of human capital management in craft enterprises. Craft companies belong to the category of SME’s. People management model in SME’s is different from the popular models of management knowing from large organizations. The subject of my considerations – craft enterprises, are characterized by a characteristic element in the process of managing people – the stage of dual vocational education of adolescent. I make a goal of my work to diagnose significance of dual education of adolescent for HRM in Polish craft companies.
