Niniejszy artykuł jest przyczynkiem do rozważań nad problematyką inkorporacji i adaptacji nowszych ustaleń i wyników badań nad językiem w zakresie mówionej niemczyzny dla filologicznego kształcenia językowego, jak też głosem do dyskusji nad możliwością zastosowania nowszych wyników badań i opisów lingwistycznych w kształceniu językowym na tym poziomie kształcenia. Podjęte w artykule rozważania teoretyczne, jak i przedstawione wyniki badań empirycznych oraz zilustrowane przykłady rozwiązań praktycznych służyć mają doskonaleniu procesu nauczania i uczenia się języka obcego w ramach germanistycznego kształcenia językowego, jak i być inspiracją dla dydaktyk innych języków obcych na poziomie filologicznym.

This article discusses some issues involved in incorporating and adapting the latest research in language studies in teaching spoken German at the level of philology. It also contributes to the discussion on the applicability of the latest research results and linguistic descriptions in language teaching at that level. Both the theoretical considerations and the empirical research results presented in the article as well as the examples of practical solutions aim to improve methods of teaching and learning a foreign language in the German philology education. They may also be an inspiration for didactics of other foreign languages at the level of philology studies.

Rozwijanie kompetencji interkulturowej jest jednym z najważniejszych celów nowoczesnego nauczania języków obcych. Zadanie to stanowi niemałe wyzwanie dla nauczycieli w szkołach średnich. Cel ten może być osiągnięty poprzez międzynarodowe wymiany szkolne, które dają młodym ludziom możliwość zdobycia umiejętności interkulturowych poprzez immersję w nowym pod względem kulturowym i językowym środowisku. Artykuł koncentruje się przede wszystkim na niemiecko-francuskich i niemiecko-polskich programach wymian. W podsumowaniu podkreślono istotę organizowania międzynarodowych wymian międzyszkolnych i komunikacji interkulturowej w dobie globalizacji.

Die Entwicklung der interkulturellen Kompetenz ist eines der wichtigsten Ziele des modernen Fremdsprachenunterrichts und eine der herausfordernden Aufgaben der Fremdsprachenlehrenden, insbesondere im schulischen Bereich. Dieses Ziel kann durch den internationalen Schüleraustausch erreicht werden. Internationale Austauschprojekte leisten einen wichtigen Beitrag zur Entwicklung interkultureller Kompetenz. Sie geben den Jugendlichen die Möglichkeit, in eine neue kulturelle und sprachliche Umgebung einzutauchen. Der Beitrag konzentriert sich insbesondere auf deutsch-französische und deutsch-polnische Austauschprogramme. Zusammenfassend wird die ständig wachsende Bedeutung internationaler Austauschprojekte und der interkulturellen Kommunikation in der globalisierten Welt hervorgehoben.

The development of intercultural skills can be considered one of the most crucial goals of modern foreign language teaching. This task seems particularly challenging for school teachers. International school exchanges offer an excellent opportunity for young learners to acquire intercultural skills through immersion in a new cultural and linguistic environment. The article focus especially on German-French and German-Polish exchange programs. More generally, we stress the increasing importance of school exchanges and intercultural communication in a globalized world.
