In this study, the author draws attention to some of the dysfunctions inherent both in education regarding social work, and in the form of postgraduate education and training courses. Dysfunctions are already a social fact; they have emerged as a result of excessive tendencies of the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy to unify and standardize the process of education and as a result of the excessive control over the whole process of training of social workers. The analysis in thispaper shows several major dysfunctions resulting from double standards in education, but also dysfunctions manifested in underdeveloped aims of M.A. programmes, in the misunderstanding of and underperformance in the process of professionalization, and in the excessive tendency to form narrow specializations in the profession of a social worker. The author is aware that many other anomalies that lie in the education and training of socialworkers deserve a separate study and a more thorough analysis.

W prezentowanym artykule autorka zwraca uwagę na niektóre dysfunkcje nieodłącznie związane z kształceniem w zakresie pracy socjalnej i formą kształcenia podyplomowego oraz kursów szkoleniowych. Dysfunkcje są już faktem społecznym; wyłoniły się jako wynik tendencji ze strony Ministerstwa Pracy i Polityki Społecznej do nadmiernego ujednolicenia i standaryzacji procesu kształcenia oraz jako skutek nadmiernej kontroli nad całym procesem szkolenia pracowników socjalnych. Analiza prowadzona w pracy ukazuje kilka poważnych dysfunkcji wynikających z podwójnych standardów w kształceniu, ale także dysfunkcji wyrażających się w słabo rozwiniętych celach programów studiów magisterskich, niezrozumieniu i słabych wynikach procesu profesjonalizacji oraz tendencji do nadmiernego tworzenia wąskich specjalizacji w zawodzie pracownika socjalnego. Autorka ma świadomość, iż wiele nieprawidłowości w kształceniu i szkoleniu pracowników socjalnych zasługuje na oddzielne badanie i bardziej dogłębną analizę.
