Szybki, wypełniony zmiennością oraz napędzany produkcją świat oferuje współczesnym rodzicom i nauczycielom nowy sposób komunikacji – przy użyciu dziennika elektronicznego. Artykuł ukazuje pozytywne aspekty wykorzystania dziennika elektronicznego, podkreśla jednak zasadność podtrzymywania osobistych kontaktów nauczycieli z rodzicami. Wyjątkowości bezpośrednich relacji nie da się bowiem zastąpić żadnymi innymi, a dziennik elektroniczny można uznać jedynie za formę wspierającą proces edukacji.

Quick, production-driven and filled with variability world offers new mean of communication between teachers and parents – electronic school diary. The article show positive aspects of use of this type of school diary, but also highlights the need of maintaining personal contacts between teachers and parents. Uniqueness of direct relations cannot be replaced by any other and electronic school diary has to perceived as a supporting form of the process of education.

The article is describing the analysis of the four most popular electronic diaries, three of which are used in Radom schools. The result of this analysis is answering two questions posed in the introduction. The analysis was carried out in the most detailed way.
