Artykuł złożony jest ze wstępu, czterech zasadniczych części oraz bibliografii. Pierwsza część opisuje różne konteksty społeczno-kulturowe związane z macierzyństwem. Druga część charakteryzuje społeczność studencką wraz z zadaniami rozwojowymi adekwatnymi do jej wieku wczesnej dorosłości i wyznawaną przez nią hierarchią wartości na podstawie doniesień z różnych badań. Kolejny fragment traktuje na temat metodologii badań własnych przeprowadzonych wśród studentek-matek. W ostatniej części zostały zaprezentowane najważniejsze aspekty życia badanych związane z pełnieniem przez nie podwójnej roli, jak również propozycje, skierowane do uniwersytetów, wprowadzenia innowacji wspomagających młode mamy w nauce. Ułatwienie studentkom radzenia sobie z dzieckiem i studiami mogłoby zachęcić inne kobiety do powiększania rodziny w młodym wieku, jeszcze w trakcie studiów, co w jakimś stopniu pomogłoby w rozwiązywaniu problemów demograficznych Polski.

The article consists of the introduction, four basic parts and the bibliography. The first part describes various socio-cultural contexts concerning maternity. The second part characterizes the students, their developmental tasks, which are adequate to their early adult age and their value hierarchy on the basis of various research results. The next extract deals with methodology of own research made among students-mothers. The last part presents the most relevant aspects of lives of the researched students concerning a double role served by them. This piece as well presents some suggestions addressed to the universities regarding introducing certain innovations which would support young mums in the process of studying. Helping students with reconciling taking care of child with studying could encourage other women to proliferate in young age during studies. It could, to some extent solve the demographic problems in Poland.
