Prezentowane w niniejszym artykule badania są fragmentem większego projektu badawczego o charakterze pedagogiczno-psychologicznym, dotyczącego problematyki interpretacji świata przez dzieci. Przedmiotem badań jest twórczość dziecięca – językowa i rysunkowa, poddana analizie i opisowi z perspektywy nie tylko pedagogicznej, ale także socjologicznej oraz psychologicznej. Problemy, które pojawiają się w związku z ana-lizą wypowiedzi dzieci, dotyczą relacji między światem rzeczywistym a obrazem świata w umyśle dziecka. Z konstruowaniem znaczeń związane są koncepcje dotyczące tworzenia reprezentacji w umyśle, dlatego w podstawach teoretycznych odwołuję się do psychologicznej koncepcji tworzenia reprezentacji w hierarchicznie kształtujących się systemach pamięci (proceduralnej, semantycznej, epizodycznej). Natomiast metodologia badań mieści się w „miękkiej” perspektywie badań jakościowych, odwołując się do teorii ugruntowanej, z wykorzystaniem kategorii językowego obrazu świata oraz semiotycznych analiz wypowiedzi rysunkowych.

The research presented in the article is a fragment of a larger pedagogical and psychological research project on the concept formation in the child’s mind. The subject of the research is children's creativity - linguistic and drawing, subjected to analysis and de-scription from not only pedagogical, but also sociological and psychological perspective. Problems that arise in connection with the analysis of children's utterances relate to the relationship between the real world and a picture of the world in the child's mind. The prob-lems of knowledge construction are related to the concepts of creating representation in the mind; therefore, in theoretical foundations, I refer to the psychological concept of creating representation in hierarchically shaped memory systems (procedural, semantic, episodic). The research methodology, however, falls within the 'soft' perspective of qualitative re-search, referring to grounded theory, using the category of the language image of the world and semiotic analyzes of drawing utterances.
