According to the literature the economic environment is an important determinant of competitiveness, because has a definite impact on the activity carried out by the company. Each business entity is an open system, which means, that it still remains in interactions with the economic environment that stimulates its development. By acting in a stable economic environment, enterprises have the opportunity to grow and improve their competitive position both in relation to domestic and foreign entities

The paper is devoted to a problem of temporal reasoning for (among others) managerial tasks. It shows the complexity of economic environment, which leads to representational problems. Next the features of a temporal reasoning systems are pointed out, and finally one of such systems – a PROTON one – is presented and critically discussed.

Zmiany ustrojowe, jakie zaszły w Polsce po 1989 roku, niejako wymusiły w sporcie adaptację do nowych mechanizmów gospodarki rynkowej, zmiany całej kultury fizycznej oraz w sposobie myślenia i postępowania decydentów w strukturach sportu. W artykule omówiono typologię bliższego i dalszego otoczenia organizacji sportowych, relacje zachodzące między organizacjami sportowymi a ich otoczeniem ekonomicznym (rynkiem) i społecznym oraz przykłady strategii i taktyk zachowań rynkowych i rozwojowych, które umożliwiają z jednej strony stosowne reakcje na impulsy i potrzeby otoczenia, z drugiej zaś – odnoszenie sukcesów w realizacji długofalowych i bieżących zadań.

In a sense, the systemic changes that took place in Poland in the wake of 1989 forced sport to adapt to the new mechanisms of the market economy as well as modifications for the whole of physical culture and the way of thinking and acting of the decision makers in sports structures. The article discusses the typologies of the closer and more distant environments of sports rganizations, relations taking place between sports organizations and their economic (market) and social environments as well as examples of strategies and tactics for market and developmental behavior that, on the one hand, make possible appropriate reactions to impulses from and the needs of the environment and, on the other, achieving success in implementing long–term and running tasks.

In recent years, the economic situation in Poland has undergone dynamic changes. These changes had an impact on the standard of living of Poles, by affecting their financial situation. The article presents and analyzes the characteristics of changes in the structure of polish household budgets in 2008-2018. Issues such as income and expenditure, expenditure structure, tendency and dynamics of changes, including demographic and economic factors, has been discused in this article. In addition to analyzing the data on the structure of household budgets, the causes responsible for such and not other directions of changes has been also identified.

W ostatnich latach sytuacja gospodarcza w Polsce podlegała dynamicznym zmianom. Zmiany te oddziaływały na poziom życia Polaków poprzez wpływ na ich sytuację finansową. Artykuł przedstawia oraz analizuje charakterystykę zmian w strukturze budżetów gospodarstw domowych w latach 2008–2018. Omówione zostały zagadnienia, takie jak poziom dochodów i wydatków, struktura wydatków, tendencja oraz dynamika zmian z uwzględnieniem czynników demograficznych i ekonomicznych. Oprócz przeanalizowania danych dotyczących struktury budżetów gospodarstw domowych, zidentyfikowane zostały również przyczyny odpowiadające za takie, a nie inne kierunki zmian.
